Ayla Nereo | Samples

When it came to music festivals, which I've been covering since 2018, I craved a new creative challenge and chose photography over video. My video work examples won't look like a music festival set, but filming event sizzle reels in Atlanta and nationally is my team's bread and butter.
I think there's two things that make my work special: growing up a drummer, editing to music feels like another fluent language to me: the inherent inner movement of the footage and how that matches to the ebbs and flow of the instrumentation and rhythm is something I'm very proud of.
And second: I have a genuine love of people, and having filmed them for 12 years, while walking a psychedelically informed spiritual path, has given me a style that I hope brings out the best of the human soul in each piece.
